i have four assignments and a presentation due this thursday. yep, they've all got to be due on the same day, right?

so i completed one already, well two because i finished another one this morning and half procrastinated and half started my third assignment just now. procrastination included ebay, vogue, facebook and endless abuse from john. i'm so tired and my throat isn't getting any better either.

the week has only just started and it's already a bit of a drag. i forgot it was father's day yesterday but it's not too bad because my dad isn't here although he was expecting a happy father's day wish on the phone but it slipped my mind =P

last week was a big week and i barely fitted any study, ebaying or vogue-ing into my schedule.

lester came back and i say came back because to me perth SHOULD be his home after he finishes NS and i think perth is where he belongs =) it was good to see him again as it always is. it was short but sweet and hopefully i'll see him again when i go to singapore at the end of the year/beginning of 'o9.

on wednesday, me and tash met isaac and adrian for dinner. twas interesting i must say, little laughs and little awkward moments, but oh well. galileos was good. next stop: star anise.

on thursday, i went to dinner with michelle and it was good to talk to her again and catch up on two years of lost time. go put your eye balls back into your eye sockets guys, yes you read right. i went to dinner with michelle. =)

friday. i went to karaoke with lester, rizal, tash, syaz, kevin, juan and judd. the usual. except i had a sore throat and after 2 hours of singing imperfectly fine, i lost my voice and i woke up in the morning feeling shithouse and my voice is still slightly gone =(

saturday. one thing: extremely nice weather. i finally went to delittante and put the luella skirt on layby. i love that skirt, i really do. after that, i stopped by cult status and saw the AM skull scarves. the navy is beautiful but i really want the cashmere one which is 395 or something like that. i reeeeeeally like it and it's not badly priced to compared to what it is on eBay. weird, right? hmmmmmmmmmmmm

after my little retail trip, i met mila for breakfast which was also not too shabby. we caught up and stuff. it was her birthday on thursday so i treated her for breakfast @ king st. i hadn't seen her since my birthday and we hadn't properly spoken in a while.

i was so tired from the night before so i went home and went to sleep right away. woke up at 7, went to karaoke at 10ish and then headed to metros. it was an interesting night but i didn't drink much cos i'm sick. got home at 5ish and slept laterish. i was late for work but it's okay, i didn't get too busted.

sitting in a lecture is no fun at all which is one of the main things that pisses me off about my course. there are so many damn lectures and it's annoying.

okay, i'm done with my complaining. i've been vogue-ing all morning and internet window shopping. i am broke as a joke at the moment and can't afford anything unless i start working again. i'm expecting my summer wardrobe to exceed 4k or something like that so i have to start working my ass off and selling stuff on eBay.

i've chosen to ignore my lecturer and just read ahead cos he's monotone and he spits into his own beard and moustache. yum.

i never used to like karen walker either until i saw her latest collection, angels.

all the pieces are SO cute but for some reason, all of her stuff has just upped in price =( all her pieces are averaging $600 each and i want about 3 things. i'm not too sure if i can afford it at the moment because i already preordered the lover things but to be honest, this collection is SO much nicer than the latest lover collection, lovebomb.

my favourite dress is the frou frou dress which is $594.

next on my list is the angel dess which is $620

and .. flutter cuff ruffle dress which is $627

almost everyone has sold out of the frou frou dress and it hasn't even come out in stores yet so i have to decide quickly! =(

designer i love: luella bartley

i used to hate luella designs. the gisele bag literally pissseddd me off, just like the louis vuitton neverfull bag pisses me off. i have to say, after i saw her s/s '08 collection, i fell in love with luella.

here are a few things from the spring/summer collection:

there's a skirt version of the bat jacket from the second image from the left that i love, but i can't find it ANYWHERE online and the only place that i know has it is delittante. thing is, they fully rack up their prices and the skirt is $410 there. i have no choice, i am going there sometime this week to put it on layby.

designer i love: chanita preechawitayakul

chanita preechawitayakul, who is referred to as lee, is the designer for thai label senada theory. i'd heard of senada theory a couple of years ago but it was nowhere to be found in perth, online and it made me craaaaaaaaaaaazy. thanks to maximillia (http://www.maximillia.com/) i can indulge in thai silks used for lee's frilled dresses, skirts and blouses. the frill skirt is one that is simply unbeatable. i fell in love with it as soon as i saw it and preordered it immediately. the frill dresses are to die for but its a shame i can't afford them all =(

singapore

so i haven't blogged in awhile cos i just got back from singapore a few days ago. was really good, bought a few things and did a lot of walking, which resulted in me having slightly swollen feet and fingers. =P

still haven't received my grey ant sunnies which i bought long before i went to singapore =( buttt good news: i finally got my oliver peoples ari frames! yay to reading and getting further down the road (no pun intended) on getting my driving license. =) how about that eh? another asian girl on the road.

i also finally got my hands on the elizabeth & james parachute dress before i went to singapore. i'm starting to like singapore a little more now but only a little. far east plaza is heaven. even though i spent 2 hours looking for poppy seed, it was well worth it.

i am super lemming these lanvin flats. however, i highly doubt i will get them as:

1. i am super broke
2. they are $700+
3. they are too delicate for my feet! hahaha;
but then again .. they are so damn freakin' cute!

w.i.w.: villa d'este

tasha and evanna just got back a few days ago and i hadn't seen them for about a month and i missed them like crazy. we went to villa d'este to eat last night and then went to karaoke which was fun =) here is what i wore last night:john zach one shoulder star dress, chanel chain, vintage chanel bag, kookai leather jacket, vintage bangle.

i'm still in love with this chanel belt which i normally wear as a necklace. i've been using my vintage chanel lots lately but it's a bit smelly cos it's vintage-y and old. i also wore my robert robert high ankle boots. i love them also and i wish i could afford the loubies ;)

after months and months of wanting to grow out my fringe so i don't have a fringe, i decided to cut a fringe again. hahaha i woke up saturday morning and decided that i wanted to cut a fringe again. so here's a pic of my hair even though i didn't properly style it =P i'm going to singapore on tuesday and when i'm there i'm gonna get some extensions, and i'm also gonna make the fringe a bit heavier .. and maybe add a bit of colour too =)

quite an old collection now but i'm still kinda in love with. they have the cutest dresses, tees and skirts in this collection but also something else that will cost me arms and legs. one thing that has definitely stood out in this collection is the black rats pants. they have caused quite a stir over the past few months and i have still not gotten my hands on a pair of these! they are genius!

i love how sass and bide's every collection is different but they still keep their own image. i never thought this collection was very wearable but i keep looking at them in awe and falling in love with the collection more and more!

now days, i'm finding that australian designer brands are seriously, drastically, upping their prices so badly. soon enough, i'm not gonna be able to afford any of these! =(
