cheree commerford comes from a small place in New South Wales call Woodford Island, the inspiration for her label Woodford and Co. her label is inspired by her rural upbringing in a country town and it built on daydreams and movies of a life abroad.

summer 2oo8. a summer suitcase of classic meets coastal. a boathouse on the water. lazy summer days, golden salty skin. coot tiles, beach house, white. sailboats and sunsets. the night begins and the holiday never ends. summer in the Hamptons, the calender full of fashionable affairs. to not make an entrance but always be remebered. casual glamour worn with ease. timeless elements made completely unique.

sitting in a lecture is no fun at all which is one of the main things that pisses me off about my course. there are so many damn lectures and it's annoying.

okay, i'm done with my complaining. i've been vogue-ing all morning and internet window shopping. i am broke as a joke at the moment and can't afford anything unless i start working again. i'm expecting my summer wardrobe to exceed 4k or something like that so i have to start working my ass off and selling stuff on eBay.

i've chosen to ignore my lecturer and just read ahead cos he's monotone and he spits into his own beard and moustache. yum.

i don't have a pic of what i'm wearing today but it's a puff skirt, claude maus checked blouse, fendi belt, balenciaga bag, french soles and my lover chrissie coat. i was lazy to do my face and my hair today so my hair is straight with a quiff.

designer i love: karen walker

i never used to like karen walker either until i saw her latest collection, angels.

all the pieces are SO cute but for some reason, all of her stuff has just upped in price =( all her pieces are averaging $600 each and i want about 3 things. i'm not too sure if i can afford it at the moment because i already preordered the lover things but to be honest, this collection is SO much nicer than the latest lover collection, lovebomb.

my favourite dress is the frou frou dress which is $594.

next on my list is the angel dess which is $620

and .. flutter cuff ruffle dress which is $627

almost everyone has sold out of the frou frou dress and it hasn't even come out in stores yet so i have to decide quickly! =(

designer i love: luella bartley

i used to hate luella designs. the gisele bag literally pissseddd me off, just like the louis vuitton neverfull bag pisses me off. i have to say, after i saw her s/s '08 collection, i fell in love with luella.

here are a few things from the spring/summer collection:

there's a skirt version of the bat jacket from the second image from the left that i love, but i can't find it ANYWHERE online and the only place that i know has it is delittante. thing is, they fully rack up their prices and the skirt is $410 there. i have no choice, i am going there sometime this week to put it on layby.

designer i love: chanita preechawitayakul

chanita preechawitayakul, who is referred to as lee, is the designer for thai label senada theory. i'd heard of senada theory a couple of years ago but it was nowhere to be found in perth, online and it made me craaaaaaaaaaaazy. thanks to maximillia (http://www.maximillia.com/) i can indulge in thai silks used for lee's frilled dresses, skirts and blouses. the frill skirt is one that is simply unbeatable. i fell in love with it as soon as i saw it and preordered it immediately. the frill dresses are to die for but its a shame i can't afford them all =(

i had to get rid of my cabinets and drawers cos we're moving out soonish and it took me ages to work out where i'd put my shoes in my room. i've done enough organising for the night so i guess tomorrow night is time to sort out the scarves as they're all laid on top of one another which is hard when i need a scarf that's right in the middle =(

i had chosen out my dinner outfit a few days ago actually. i had ordered my camilla and marc nancy frock about 3 weeks ago and the girl took freaking ages to send it. she only sent it out monday cos i sherlock holmes-ed her ass and she tried lying to me and blaming it on aust post.

anyway, i wore my camilla and marc nancy frock, sportsgirl leather braid, sportsgirl purple and gold bangle, cc skye double wrap, christian louboutin rolando pumps, chanel swarovski crystal encrusted necklace & chanel vintage bag.

singapore

so i haven't blogged in awhile cos i just got back from singapore a few days ago. was really good, bought a few things and did a lot of walking, which resulted in me having slightly swollen feet and fingers. =P

still haven't received my grey ant sunnies which i bought long before i went to singapore =( buttt good news: i finally got my oliver peoples ari frames! yay to reading and getting further down the road (no pun intended) on getting my driving license. =) how about that eh? another asian girl on the road.

i also finally got my hands on the elizabeth & james parachute dress before i went to singapore. i'm starting to like singapore a little more now but only a little. far east plaza is heaven. even though i spent 2 hours looking for poppy seed, it was well worth it.

i am super lemming these lanvin flats. however, i highly doubt i will get them as:

1. i am super broke
2. they are $700+
3. they are too delicate for my feet! hahaha;
but then again .. they are so damn freakin' cute!
